20-Mark Enrichment — Analytical Material

Core Argument

The Prophet ﷺ described himself in a single phrase: إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ مُعَلِّمًا — "I have been sent only as a teacher" (Ibn Mājah, Dārimī). The 20-mark thesis is that he did not merely transmit information; he built an educational system from nothing — with a curriculum (revelation and its application), institutions (Suffah, the mosque, women's sessions), a pedagogy (gradualism, repetition, questioning, demonstration), a teacher-training model (companions sent as instructors), and an assessment mechanism (recitation, application and public correction). Within twenty-three years an overwhelmingly illiterate society became the custodian of a literate scriptural civilisation. That transformation is the evidence.
